How commission is calculated
The first-order and later-order rates, the eligible amount, and a worked example.
EveryoneUpdated 15/09/2026
Your rates. The programme pays 10% of the eligible amount of a customer's first attributed order and 5% of every later order from that customer, renewals included. Your own rates are on your Account page under Your terms; if we have set different rates for your account, those are the ones that apply.
The eligible amount is the blend lines of the order after any discount, with delivery and tax left out. A 90-day charge is one order; its £0 deliveries are not.
First, then later. The first paid order we attribute to you from a given customer earns the first-order rate — on every blend in it, if there are several. Every order after that from the same customer, including each subscription renewal, earns the later-order rate. The rate in force when an order is paid is recorded against it and never changes afterwards.
Never counts: an order you place yourself, an order placed while your account is paused, and an order for a blend that was disabled before it was paid.
A worked example
A client subscribes to a £45.00 blend. Delivery is separate. The eligible amount is £45.00, so the first order earns 10% of £45.00. The renewal a month later is a later order and earns 5% of £45.00. A £126.00 90-day charge as a first order earns 10% of £126.00, and the two monthly deliveries inside it earn nothing more.
Attribution — whose order is it
For a partner: a blend you sent in a plan carries your code, so an order for it is yours, cookies or not. For an affiliate: the same for a blend you built and shared, plus anything else bought within 30 days of a click on your link by a visitor who accepted cookies — Tracking clicks and orders. Where two of you could claim an order, the blend's own code wins over a click.
