Payout timing and statements

The hold, the monthly run, the minimum, and where statements live.

This screen is still being finished. The steps below describe how it will work; check them against the portal once it is live.

  1. Pending, then available. Each line of commission is Pending for 30 days after the order is paid, in case of a refund. Then it becomes Available.

  2. The monthly run. On the 1st of the month, every account whose available balance is at least £25.00 has a payout created for it. Anything under the minimum carries forward to the next month.

  3. Approved, then paid. We approve the run, send it to the bank, and mark it paid — usually within a few working days. You get a statement email when it is.

  4. Statements. Earnings → Payouts lists every payout with its period, reference, amount and status. Open one for the statement: every line it paid, printable, with a CSV to download.

The reference

Each payout has a reference that starts YUT, followed by the year and month and a short code. It is what appears on your bank statement, so you can match the two.

Statuses

StatusMeaning
Being preparedCreated on the run date; not yet approved
ApprovedChecked by us and queued for the bank
Sent to the bankOn its way; allow a few working days
PaidIn your account. The date is shown
Could not be paidThe bank rejected it, usually wrong details. Fix them and it goes in the next run
CancelledWithdrawn by us before payment, for example to merge with a correction

Negative balances

A refund after a payout becomes a negative line. It reduces your next payout rather than being asked back; if it takes the balance below zero, the balance carries forward until later commission covers it.
