The price in the email looks different

Prices are what the client will pay, from our servers, at the moment of sending; if the catalogue moves before they approve, they re-confirm.

This screen is still being finished. The steps below describe how it will work; check them against the portal once it is live.

  1. Every price is live at the moment of sending. The figures on the review step and in the email come from our servers when you press Send — the portal holds no price list of its own. What the client sees is what they would pay if they approved at that moment.

  2. If our catalogue changes before they approve, the approval page shows the new figure and asks them to confirm it. The email's figure is not what they are agreeing to; the page's is, and only after they tick the box.

  3. Existing subscribers keep their contracted prices until a change is approved. Lines you did not touch stay at the price the client already pays; only the lines you changed are priced at today's rates. That is why a small change can show a total that is not simply today's list price for the whole blend.

  4. If the live price rises above what they agreed between approval and apply, the change is not applied and the client is asked to confirm again. A lower price applies without asking.

The email and the page disagree

That is the catalogue having moved between sending and opening. The page is right. If the client is unsure, they can decline and you can send a fresh request with the new figures.

Plan emails

The same rule for a plan you send: the prices shown are what the client would pay at that moment, and checkout charges the normal price on the day they buy. Nothing in a plan fixes a price.
