When changes take effect
The six-hour window before a charge, 90-day plans, and tins already made.

An approved change applies to the next charge. The review step and the client's email both name the date: "From your charge on 12 October".
Unless the next charge is within six hours. A charge that close is already being prepared, so the change waits and applies to the one after. The email shows the later date in that case.
90-day plans. The change applies from the next 90-day charge after the effective date. Tins inside the current 90 days — the monthly deliveries already paid for — are made as they were.
Tins already made or paid for don't change. A change is a change to what is charged and made next, never to what has been paid.
Why six hours
Charges run in a batch overnight. A change written while a charge is being processed could apply to half of it, so we stop short of the window rather than risk that. The margin covers the batch and the clock change.
If a payment is failing
When a charge is retrying and the next-charge date does not move, the change stays queued. If it has not been possible to apply it within three days, the request is marked Couldn't apply, our team is told, and you get an email. The client's subscription is left exactly as it was.
The price the client agreed to
The client approved a specific price per charge. If, when the change is applied, the live price would be higher than that figure, the change is not applied and the client is asked to confirm again. Lower is fine.
