Tax, VAT and invoices
Tax on commission is yours to handle; what to tell us if you are VAT-registered; statements as your records.
EveryoneUpdated 15/09/2026
Commission is paid without deductions. We do not take tax off it. Declaring it and paying whatever is due is yours to do — as a sole trader, through your company, or however you are set up.
VAT-registered? Tell us before your first payout. Commission is stated without VAT. If you are registered, email partner@yutrients.com with your VAT number. We will either take a VAT invoice from you for each payout or set up a self-billing agreement, after which the commission plus VAT is paid.
Statements are your records. Every payout has a statement under Earnings → Payouts, printable, with a CSV. The Earnings page's own CSV covers any month or status you choose.
What a statement shows
The period, the reference that appears on your bank statement, every line paid with its date, blend, eligible amount, rate and commission, any adjustments, and the total.
Reporting to HMRC
We may be required to report payments made through the programme, and to give information about them. Where we are, we will tell you. Section 8.11 of the programme terms.
We can't advise
We are not accountants and cannot say how commission should be handled in your circumstances. An accountant can, and a statement CSV is what they will ask for.
