The rules — no medical claims, #ad, ASA and CAP

What you can and cannot say about a blend, the words that get a post stopped, and how to disclose.

Yutrients products are food supplements, not medicines. The law on what can be said about them is strict, and the rules below are how we, and you, stay inside it.

  1. Say what a blend is, never what it does for the body. Its ingredients, the amounts, that it is made in the UK, that you chose it. Not what it does for sleep, mood, energy, weight, immunity or anything else — that is a health claim, and only authorised claims in their authorised wording are allowed.

  2. The words that will get a post — or your account — stopped: "cure", "treat", "heal", "prevent", "remedy", "miracle", "guaranteed", "guarantee", "clinically proven", "doctor approved", "NHS", and the names of conditions (for example cancer or diabetes). Our name check refuses them in a blend's name; the same words in a post are a breach of the terms.

  3. Every post with your link is an ad. Put #ad, or the platform's paid-partnership label, where a reader sees it before they engage — the start of a caption, not the end; the first seconds of a video, not the description.

  4. No earnings claims, no discount claims, no urgency. Do not say what anyone could earn beyond the rates on your Account page, do not promise a code or a special price, and do not tell people to hurry.

  5. Nothing false or misleading, about us or about anyone else.

The codes

The ASA's guidance for influencers and the CAP Code are the rules for advertising in the UK; your posts are advertising when they carry your link. Read the ASA's influencer guidance and the CAP Code once, properly.

The name check

As you type a product's name, our builder checks it against the list. A blocked word stops the create; change the word and the button comes back. A word we allow but watch — a focus area a base is named after — shows a note asking you to take care.

What happens if a rule is broken

We may disable the blend, which stops its links, and we may pause or block the account. Section 9 of the programme terms. If you are unsure whether something is a claim, it probably is — email partner@yutrients.com before you post.
