Help / Sending formulas to clients

Create and send a formula

One or more formulas, a message, a suggested way to buy each and an expiry — then send by email or copy the link.

A formula is a blend you build for one client. A client receives one or more of them, a note from you, and a link that lasts a set number of days. Building them takes three steps.

  1. Open the client and press Create formula.

  2. Blends. Add one or more: From a base (one of our ready-made blends, to add to or change), From scratch, From a preset, or Duplicate a previous blend you sent this client before. Each opens the editor in a side panel, where you can browse ingredients by picture and category or search by name. Press Add this formula and it is saved as a draft — leave the page and come back, and it is still there.

  3. Message and buying. Write a short message. It goes in the email and on the page we send them, so say what you have put together and why you chose it — not what it will do for them. The message is checked for words we cannot send. Then give your recommendation for each formula — monthly subscription or one-off tin; it is shown first and already picked on the client's page, with the other underneath — and how long the link lasts: 7, 14, 30 or 60 days.

  4. Review and send. A preview of the client's page. Press Send email to have us email it, or Get the link without emailing to pass it on yourself.

  5. The link is shown once, with a copy button. If you took the link without emailing, a Send email button stays on that screen and emails the very same link. The portal never stores it; later, from the Formulas tab, you can still email it while we have it to hand, or send a fresh one.

Prices

Every price on the page came from our builder when the blend was saved. Checkout charges the site price on the day they buy, less your clients' discount, which is applied for them because the formula came from you — see Client discounts. Nothing else you send changes what checkout charges.

After sending

What you sent appears on the client's Formulas tab as Sent, then Opened when they open it, then Purchased when they buy. Resend, revoke and expiry covers what to do if they do not.
